Our mission is to produce, promote, and distribute videos and supplementary materials for the classroom and community that focus on matters of social justice, social inequality, and social control.
Through the medium of video, we seek to bring the insights of social and historical research to the general public and the high school and college classroom.

In January 2011, Google accepted Verstehen Video into the YouTube Nonprofit program which enables us to put our videos on YouTube without time restrictions. You can view our YouTube channel here and we are in the process of uploading and converting the videos currently on our website to the higher quality YouTube allows for.
